coast between Exmoor and

and embark on local fishing trips. The town centre is a short walk from the Butlins resort and within the older parts of town
you can still see authentic thatched cottages and narrow alleyways. Blenheim Gardens is a lovely park located in the town
that hosts concerts during the summer months on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and is well worth a visit. The surrounding
countryside is some of the most beautiful in the UK and the South West Coast Path starts on the seafront and follows the coast
round to Lands End in Cornwall and as far as Poole harbour in Dorset. Minehead has become a popular tourist attraction with
its town centre hosting a number of retail shops, bars and restaurants. There is a wide range of entertainment and sporting
facilities in the area including a cinema, leisure centre and many top quality golf courses. On the quieter side you
can take walks from the town into the Exmoor countryside where amazing views, red deer and shaggy ponies can be seen. Minehead
is also very proud of the annual floral displays which are produced throughout the town and have even seen them winning the
much coveted National Britain in Blooms award. A short drive inland from Minehead will take you to through the magnificent
countryside of Exmoor with the many parks, museums and historical buildings. Everywhere you look around this beautiful county
